在这部《紫钗记》译本中，译者始终遵循这一翻译策略，在译文中致力达到此一目的。此外，文学作品除了主题、情节、人物、冲突等结构性重要因素外，离不开对人物、事件和情感细致的描写，离不开意象、修辞和典故等语言艺术手段的使用。对于这部中国典籍文学作品，译者力求对上述因素做“重描”，即用译入语最大限度地重现原文细节，语言修辞和典故，以便在读者视界中产生饱满的审美感受。
