本书主要运用政治学、经济学、国际贸易等学科的研究范式与方法，围绕2018年的中东地区形势和中国与阿拉伯国家之间贸易，开展定性与定量相结合的分析与研究，主要针对2018年中阿贸易依存度、中阿贸易结构、中阿投资依存度、中阿服务贸易、中阿农产品与食品贸易、中阿金融市场七个方面的数据，分析研判未来中阿经济贸易发展趋势，有助于读者更好的了解中阿经贸发展进程。

2018年中国与阿拉伯国家经贸合作整体运行稳中有进，合作空间巨大。中阿战略伙伴关系在经贸关系的发展中得以持续发展，截至2018年，中资企业参与建设和运营了吉布提港、苏丹港、沙特吉达港、埃及塞得港和艾因苏赫纳港、阿尔及利亚哈姆达尼耶港、摩洛哥丹吉尔港和卡萨布兰卡港、毛里塔尼亚友谊港等近10个港口，成为中国在海上丝路开展港口外交的重要对象。
