内容简介

《英国名诗详注（修订版）》收录了自16世纪伊丽莎白时代至20世纪末的英国诗人近五十位、诗歌百余首，包括抒情诗、戏剧诗、牧歌、民谣、挽歌、颂歌、史诗等诗歌品类。

注释主要以编者以往在北京大学讲授英国文学课的资料和内容为基础。

修订版对某些诗歌的注释作了大量补充，比初版更细致、更周全，并尽可能做到逐段或逐节地进行分析和小结，以利于读者把握全诗的发展，深化对中心主题的理解。
