It is not uncommon to put highly value on  this book, but I still feel the extraordinary shock in the process of reading. The love and hate are so strong  on the details, mixed with terror and deadly paranoia.Heathcliff and Catherine  love each other deeply. They are all themselves to each other. The horror atmosphere and sharp confrontation created in the book seem to only aggravate the ups and downs of love and hate more extreme. The author of this book tells the storyas a tenant，with the voice of Nelly，who has lived between two generations of Wuthering Heights . The time passed decades, and the love and hate too.Originally, the heartless 、cold man and revenge made me feel creepy, but the final outcome ended with his death, which seemed to be worthy of forgiveness. But there is another reason why I can't hate him: I have just experienced an extremely painful emotional experience. What is love? No one has ever been able to answer this question，but love is the answer for every question.We all grow up in love, and experience highs and laws, joys and sorrows in love. It seems that --at least in this book--hate appears stronger than love sometimes.Finally,  I want to leave a description of Catherine about love: that is already my interpretation of love:“ I love him: and that, not because he’s handsome, Nelly, but because he’s more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.”I no longer hope to possess love of myself, but I still hope that everyone in the world can feel the  happiness and  the love stories have a happy ending.🌸

我没看懂这本书，尽管它被划分为经典。说实话，直到现在我也不知道经典这个词对我来说意味着什么，它到底是怎样一个概念，它在我脑海中始终一片混沌，我无法用模糊不清的概念去定义任何东西。我也不能理解那些热衷于颂扬经典的人，就好像那么说了就真的拥有了什么。我甚至也有点不能理解那些研究者或评论家，我一点也想象不出那么做的意义，一本书，要么读，要么写，为什么会有一个类似第三者的角色，去研究，去评论，去拥护或去反对呢？就这本书来说，始终无法脱离的主题好像就是人与人之间的爱恨情仇，我确实没看懂，尽管我去找 AI 要了剧情总结。我还去看了中文版，一样感觉难受，我发现连中文都难受的书，最好不要找英文版看。曾经，面对这样的处境，我毫无疑问首先怀疑自己，因为这是被别人推崇的书，这是被叫做经典的书，我看不懂，我觉得不好是不是我有问题。但现在，我不这么想了，书就是书，从来都是书服务人，而不是人迁就书。我想在看得懂书之前先做个诚实面对自己的人更好。当然，我打三星，不是因为这书不行，只是因为我没看懂。相比这本书，我现在觉得另一本经典动物庄园好看多了。
